In a major political development, Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State has revealed his plans to run for the Nasarawa North senatorial seat in the 2027 general elections.
The announcement was made by Suleiman Musa Nagogo, Director-General of the State Bureau for Pension Administration, during a meeting with All Progressives Congress (APC) stakeholders in Wamba Local Government Area on Tuesday, May 20.
Nagogo shared that the governor had personally informed him of the decision to contest the Senate seat, as reported by The Punch.
He stated:
“I have come to Wamba with a clear message from His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Nasarawa State, Engineer Abdullahi Sule. The message is simple—he wishes to inform the people of Wamba, his home local government area, that he intends to run for the position of Senator representing Nasarawa North in 2027.”
